The students of DAV Public School , Lawrence Road , Amritsar, performed remarkably
well in the School State Skating Championship organised by the department of Director
Sport, Mohali , at the Wheels Skating Rink, Loharka Road, Amritsar.
Rahul Rai ( Std – X ) bagged a Gold and Bronze Medal (Under 17 age group)
Mehak Gupta ( Std – X ) clinched a Gold and two Silver Medals in this
championship.
Both the students have qualified for School National Skating Championship which is
going to be held in Belgaun ( Karnataka) from 26 th December to 30 th December.
