Patriotism is the great and selfless passion of love for the country. A true patriot, who loves India, is an active worker.
This was the message given by dazzling and talented children of std-III in the URVI auditorium of DAV Public School, Lawrence Road, Amritsar on Annual function day. 500 children of class-III participated in this show. It was a highly influential show which reminded us about our duties and responsibilities. The sacrifices made by freedom fighters, army, navy, air force for achieving freedom should not go waste. We should value them and try to maintain the glory of India.
The annual function was presented in two shows. Shri Sudarshan Kapoor Senior LMC member of DAV institutions presided over the morning show and Shri Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh IG special task force was the chief guest for the evening show. Other dignatries present were Dr. Mrs Neelam Kamra Regional Director Punjab Zone-A, Principal Mr. Paramjit, manager of the school Dr Rajesh Kumar principal DAV College Amritsar blessed the children and highly appreciated their performance. Dr. Mrs. Neera Sharma Principal DAV Punjab School, Ms. Shama Sharma Incharge co-curricular activities and Ms. Anuradha Grover Incharge DAV Cantt. School, were the guiding forces behind this function.
Highly impressed with the performance of the little ones. (Dr. Mrs) Neelam Kamra, Regional Director Punjab Zone-A expressed her satisfaction and hoped that the message given today would reach the masses and make us upright in our deeds.
