AD MAD CONTEST HELD AT DAV PUBLIC

To bring home the concept and need of advertisements in this competitive and capital intensive world, an Ad Mad Contest was organized at DAV Public School, Lawrence Road, Amritsar for the students of Std XI & XII Commerce. The students were divided into 13 teams with 4 members in each team. The teams were challenged to enact an advertisement on the product given to them on the spot. It was a very interesting and meticulously planned event which was designed to enhance creative skills, teamwork and organizational skills of the students and let them have a peep into the fascinating world of advertisements. The team Xtreme Xplosion won the first position, Four – O – gram Media Hub was second and the team Tata’s bagged the third position. The consolation prize went to 4 Horse Men and Entrepreneurial Indies. The contest was filled with drama and humor as the stage anchors engrossed the audience in guessing the tag lines and popular advertisements.
Regional Director, Punjab Zone A, Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school, Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Principal DAV College, Hathi Gate, Amritsar appreciated the efforts of the school in making learning a stress-free activity for the students.
Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal of the school applauded the efforts of the teachers and the students. She added that she was pleased to see teachers experimenting with different ideas and innovating teaching techniques.
