DAV Public School, Lawrence Road, Amritsar , observed United Nations Day . It is
celebrated worldwide in honour of the intergovernmental organisations promoting human
rights, social progress and world peace. This day highlights about concrete actions that
people can take to help achieve the sustainable development goals.
The students of the school highlighted about the aims and achievements of the United
Nations. They emphasised that this day reminds about acknowledging and accepting
cultural diversity whole heartedly, and propels towards better future for all on a healthy
planet.
