Vigilance Awareness Week ( VAW) – 2017 was observed from 30 th October , 2017 to 4 th
November, 2017 in DAV Public School, Lawrence Road, Amritsar under the aegis of
DAV CAE , New Delhi.
The theme this year was “ My Vision – Corruption Free India”. The Awareness
Programme commenced with “ Integrity Pledge” taken up by the whole school during the
morning assembly. . All the staff members and the students solemnly pledged to tread the
path of virtues and create “ SWACHH BHARAT” by sweeping away
vices - corruption , nepotism , illiteracy.
Various literary competitions – Elocution, Essay Writing , Poster Making were
organised by the members of “ Integrity Club” in the school premises to sensitize students
on this issue. The staff delivered inspiring lectures to motivate the students .
