DAV Public School , Lawrence Road , Amritsar , has once again proved its mettle and made the
state and the city proud by securing the First Place in the World Robotic Olympiad held at
Ahmedabad from 15 th Sept to 16 th Sept 2018. The great win has added a feather to the cap of
DAV CMC. It was a grand event in which 70 schools across India participated . The school team
comprised of young roboteers Rachit Aggarwal Std – X , Deepankur Shoor Std – IX , Aadit
Aggarwal Std – VIII and their very enterprising mentor Ms. Resham Sharma. They bagged the
first position for their food robot KRISH REX in Atal Tinkering Lab Open Category. The way
the students exhibited and presented their working robot was highly appreciated . The Nine
members of the jury observed and reviewed the robot very minutely.
They will be representing India at WRO International Championship to be held in Bangkok,
Thailand in November.
