The students of DAV Public School, Lawrence Road , Amritsar conducted a special
assembly on the birth anniversary of Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam. He was a great scientist who
made India proud with his missile defence programme . He often spoke to children and the
country’s youth inspiring them to think big in life.

Students paid tribute saying that he was known as People’s President. Students read out the
list of his remarkable achievements, the way he worked selflessly for the development of
the country and his inspirational quotes which will always ring in the minds of the people
for decades to come. Students recited the poems written by him and enacted a role play
portraying his ideology.
