The students of DAV Public School , Lawrence Road , Amritsar proved their mettle once again in
the DAV National Sports Girls Tournament organised by DAV .Public School , Rajindra Nagar ,
Sahibabad, U.P.
3000 students from 15 zones participated in this event and the students of DAV Public School
brought great laurels by participating in 5 games.
Lawn Tennis
Alisha Menon ( Std – XI ) under 19 age group bagged Gold Medal and Winner’s Trophy.
Skating
Mehak Gupta ( Std – X ) under 19 age group earned Gold Medal and Winner’s Trophy
Badminton
Roop A .Singh ( Std - VII) and Nitiya ( Std – IX) clinched Silver Medal each and Runners up
trophy.
Karate
Navya Behal ( Std – X ) clinched Silver Medal and Sakshi Chouhan ( Std – XI ) earned the
Bronze Medal
Table Tennis
Nimya ( Std – V) and Ekta ( Std – VII) bagged the Silver Medal each and were declared the
Runner Up.
