𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗵𝗮 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗔𝗩 𝗣𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗖
DAV Public School, Lawrence Road, Amritsar, observed Labour Day and Buddha Purnima with great reverence, promoting the values of dignity of labour, compassion, and peaceful living among students.
Students expressed gratitude towards the helping staff through speeches and discussions, highlighting the importance of respecting every form of work. On this day, refreshments were also served to the ancillary staff as a token of appreciation for their dedicated service.
On the occasion of Buddha Purnima, students reflected on the teachings of Gautama Buddha, focusing on non-violence, kindness, and truth.
𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝘿𝙧. 𝙋𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙫𝙞 𝙎𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞 expressed pride in the students’ active participation and stated that such celebrations help nurture responsible and compassionate individuals. She added that the occasion inspired students to respect hard work and follow the path of truth and kindness for a better society.
