The students of DAV Public School, Lawrence Road, Amritsar corroborated their hardwork
by winning the KVPY scholarship. Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana is a scholarship
program funded by the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India ,
aimed at encouraging students to take up research careers in the area of basic science.
It is conducted by Indian Institute of Science .
Three students of the school Karsh Verma Std - XII , Chaitanya Gupta Std – XII and Nipun
Nohria Std – XI all of science stream are now eligible for monthly fellowship for all
further studies as well as admission into premier institutes like IISC and IISER etc.
