A 'Paper Bag Making' competition was held for students in Grade IX with the aim of encouraging creativity, raising environmental awareness, and promoting sustainable habits among students. The event aimed to promote the usage of more sustainable alternatives to plastic and foster a sense of responsibility for the environment.
Participants were tasked with producing unique and functional paper bags out of ordinary materials, including old newspapers, magazines, and recycled paper. Students demonstrated great enthusiasm as they created bags of different shapes and sizes, embellishing them with brilliant colors, patterns, and artistic aspects. Each bag was a unique expression of the kids' creativity and knowledge of sustainability.
The competition not only emphasized the necessity of minimizing plastic waste, but it also gave students an opportunity to demonstrate their skill and resourcefulness. It was a fun and interesting approach for children to learn about how their actions affect the environment.
