Students Pay Homage to Swami Virjanand and Hindi Divas Celebrated at DAV Public School
To commemorate the death anniversary of Swami Virjanand ji and celebrate Hindi Divas a
special assembly was organised by the students of DAV Public School , Lawrence Road,
Amritsar Swami Virjanand ji was a monastic disciple of Swami Vivekanand ji . The children
apprised the students about the glorious life of this great saint who was the celebrated
teacher of Swami Dayanand Saraswati ji . Although he was blind yet his blindness did not
deter him from occupying a place of eminence among the scholars of Varanasi . To
recognise the importance of Hindi and celebrate the luminaries of Hindi Literature Hindi
Diwas is celebrated all over India. On this day the students emphasized the importance of
Hindi and urged everyone to use it on a regular basis.
