DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL FACILITATES MERITORIOUS STUDENTS

Under the magnanimous and dynamic leadership of Arya Ratan Dr.Punam Suri ji PadmashreeAwardee,
President DAV CMC, New Delhi, DAV Public school, Lawrence Road, Amritsar held its Annual Prize
Distribution on July 14,2024 to honour the meritorious students who proved their mettle with their
outstanding performance in the All India Senior Secondary School Examination 2023-2024 and All India
Secondary School Examination 2023-2024.The Chief Guest for the day was the President of the DAV
Fraternity Dr.Punam Suri ji accompanied by the First Lady of the DAV family Ms. Mani Suri ji . The other
worthy dignitaries who graced the occasion with their benign presence were Mr V.K . Chopra ji ( Director
Public Schools),Dr. Neelam Kamra ji ( Regional Officer Punjab Zone A) , Dr. Pushpinder Walia ji (
Manager of the school ) and Mr.Ashok Arora Senior LMC Member . The function was given an auspicious
start with the DAV Anthem. The Principal of the school, Dr Pallavi Sethi presented the Annual Report of
the school highlighting the splendiferous achievements of the school in Academics , Sports and other co -
curricular activities . The atmosphere resounded with loud cheering as the most awaited part of the event,
honouring the students of X and X11 commenced. 94 students of class XII and 122 students of class X
securing 90% and above were awarded with Trophies and Certificates. The Chief Guest expressing his
satisfaction at the result advocated the need to ameliorate efforts to reach the Zenith . He ignited the young
minds with the three golden principles for success namely keep smiling , think big and invoke the blessings
of God . He urged the students to let their faith grow with each passing day.
