A special assembly on Dussehra, the festival that resonates the victory of good over evil, was presented by the students of the school with great zeal and enthusiasm on October 10, 2024. The highlight of the celebration was a role play presented by the students based on the magnum opus, The Ramayana. Spreading the message of love, compassion, duty, and loyalty, the students pledged to refrain from evils like greed, envy, ego, anger, lust, hatred, pride, etc. The short skit depicted the victory of Lord Rama over Ravana, which not only represents the triumph of good over evil but also the eternal conflict between righteousness and malevolence.
The day also marked the celebration of ‘International Girl Child Day,' which is observed annually on October 11. Students delivered speeches and recited poems that aimed to honour girls, amplify their voices and actions, promote girl empowerment, and advocate for their rights.
Principal Dr. Pallavi Sethi praised the efforts of the students and encouraged them to cultivate compassion and positivity inside themselves in order to live the life of their desires and achieve success and victory. She also inspired students to imbibe the values of courage, integrity, and compassion as embodied by Lord Rama and emphasized the importance of empowerment and education among girls for a better future.
