On November 14, 2024, DAV Public School, Lawrence Road, Amritsar, a Special Assembly was held to celebrate Children’s Day, Gurpurab, and commemorate the death anniversary of Mahatma Hansraj Ji. The celebrations began joyfully, with students chanting the Gayatri Mantra, seeking divine blessings for the year ahead.

The school observed Children's Day, which commemorates the birth anniversary of India's first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Teachers held a special assembly, enthralling children with a Nukkad Natak that carried a powerful message, encouraging them to regard themselves as the key to India's future growth and prosperity.

In honor of Gurpurab, the school observed the Prakash Utsav, which commemorates the birth of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Sikh Guru, revered philosopher, poet, and spiritual advisor. Students attended a special assembly to embrace Guru Nanak Dev ji's teachings, which emphasize humility, service, oneness, and devotion to "Ek Onkar," the one universal God. Holy Shabads echoed across the campus, generating an aura of peace and serenity.

The school also marked the death anniversary of Mahatma Hansraj Ji, who was remembered for his selflessness and dedication to humanity. Students pledged to be inspired by his legacy of sacrifice and wisdom, supporting Arya Samaj's objective to combat social problems and uplift society.
