Under the ‘Save Wetlands Campaign’, initiated by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, New Delhi, Government of India, the students of the school today took a pledge with the aim to enable affirmative actions for the conservation of our wetlands.

The World Wetlands Day, which falls on 2nd February, seeks to manage and protect wetlands in a sustainable manner by involving the community and raising awareness about the importance of wetland conservation. Aligned with this goal, the students joined together to save the deteriorating wetlands. They learned about the importance of wetlands as a crucial element of our ecosystem since they are home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, many of which are globally threatened.

Principal Dr. Pallavi Sethi, while addressing the students, encouraged them to practice simple yet effective environment-friendly actions in their daily lives to support sustainability.
