Under the directives of the Environment Education Program, State Nodal Agency, Punjab State Council for Science and Technology, and supported by the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India, DAV Public School, Amritsar, organized an awareness campaign on January 22, 2025, to promote the conservation of electricity and water.

𝗘𝗰𝗼 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲:

The school’s 𝗘𝗖𝗢 𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗕 displayed informative banners at various locations within the school and its Cantt. branch, highlighting the significance of saving electricity and water.

Students actively participated by carrying these placards to different classrooms, spreading awareness among their peers about the need for responsible resource consumption.

𝗢𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆:

𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝟳𝘁𝗵, 𝟴𝘁𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟵𝘁𝗵 pledged to adopt eco-friendly habits and incorporate sustainable practices into their daily lives.

They committed to using electricity and water wisely & contributing to environmental conservation.

𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹’𝘀 𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀:

Principal 𝗗𝗿. 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗶 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶 encouraged students to embrace a green lifestyle by making small yet impactful changes, such as turning off taps when not in use and switching off lights when they are not needed. She emphasized that these simple actions can collectively make a significant difference in preserving natural resources for future generations.
